The IMO community places Bounty N25M in five natives of criminal activities

In an effort to stem the wave of criminal activities by indigenous people, the Umuaka community in the Njaba regional government in the IMO state, has placed the N25 million prize in five of their alleged involvement in various crimes including murder, kidnapping, rape and armed robbery.

In the notification distributed on several social media platforms on Wednesday, the community said five people had been declared sought for their involvement in crimes that had brought bad names to the public and continued to invasion by security agents who always ended with tears and suffering for them.

The statement noted that the suspects sought had been involved in criminal activities for a long time and all efforts to make them change were in vain, therefore the determination to declare they was sought and placed prizes in their heads.

He added that the suspects had hidden with a guise of becoming a biafran agitator who fought for the recovery of the Biafran Republic but had changed agitation into a criminal effort in which they kidnapped prominent people in the community for ransom, killing, rob and rape of women and girls who were not about agitation.

The notification reads:

The Umuaka community in the state of IMO has officially announced ₦ 25 million prizes over five alleged armed male members who are unknown to terrorize the area.

₦ 5 million has been placed in each of the five suspects to encourage the public to provide credible information that can cause their arrests.

The community subsequently urges the population and the general public with useful information to progress and assist security institutions by reaching through the hotline provided.

This step is seen as part of a sustainable effort to restore peace and security in the community.
