The Jewish community in Nigeria held a solidarity reliever, seeking divine intervention for Kanu liberation

Adherents of the Jewish religion in Nigeria on Thursday, held a general meeting of solidarity in the country from leaders detained from the Biafra indigenous people (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, in Afaraukwu-Naahia in the state of Abia, where they sought divine interventions for their liberation.

The meeting that took place a day after several IGBO leaders protested in front of the Abia government building in Umuahia where they asked politicians in the region to demand the release of Kanu, seeing worshipers coming from different states in the southeast East, rivers and delta countries, involved in intense prayer sessions while demanding releasing Kanu that was not prominent and not in condition.

Displays placards and banners with inscriptions such as ‘Nnamdi Kanu free, he does not commit crimes known to the law’; “East Judaism called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu from DSS Detention;” “Obey Court Order Tinubu” and ‘Free Nnamdi Kanu’, among others, group leasers argue that Kanu did nothing to ensure their persecution and urged President Tinubu to regard the release of Kanu as a step needed to unite the country.

The leader of the Jewish worshipers, Elder Shahum Ogu, who spoke to journalists about the reasons behind their meeting, urged Bola President Ahmed Tinubu to heed the request that developed from the entire country and released the leader of IPOB.

Ogu, who also asked the state governor, Alex Otti, to collaborate with another governor in the southeast of the Tinubu to free Kanu, urged the President to listen to the sound of reason and do what was in need.

Biafraland National Rabbi Deputy, Rabbi Okezie Anosike, who also spoke during a general meeting, said Kanu had to be treated like a Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Igboho.

“What Kanu asked was no different from what was demanded by Sunday Igboho for the Yoruba nation, but he (Igboho) was free.

“We ask President Tinubu to free Kanu. We ask the Governor of Otti to do everything in power to bring freedom to Kanu.

“There is nothing abnormal in the request of Kanu for the sovereign Biafra state,” he said, adding that self -determination is a universal recognized right.

“Kanu is a prophet, a messenger of God, who advocates justice, justice, and community rights.

“We ask for Kanu’s freedom and ask God to free him from the trials he faces,” he added.
