The Lagos police arrest the notorious vehicle boss Vandal

The command of the Lagos State Police successfully arrested Jude Oonouha, a 46 -year -old man identified as the pivot of a notorious criminal band specialized in the vandalism of exotic vehicles.

The gang, which used a modified car jack to impersonate a firearm, disguised from safety agents to obtain access to residential properties.

According to a declaration by the Deputy Spokesperson of the Command, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, the Oreouha band would wear false security uniforms and used a modified Mercedes-Benz jack, which was made to look like a gun.

“They would therefore have deceived the real estate security staff claiming to conduct safety on safety. Once inside, they targeted high-end vehicles, including Toyota Hilux, Toyota Highlander, Lexus 650 and Mercedes-Benz SUV.

“The band would systematically vandalize vehicles, stealing expensive components such as boxes, wiring systems, touching glasses, side mirrors and control devices,” he said.

In the meantime, the arrested Kingpin has confessed the crime and is helping the detectives with the current investigations.

The police recovered the jack of the Mercedes-Benz machine and a hood with the “special force” of the inscription from the suspicion.

The police commissioner, CP, Olohundare Jimh, advised residents and real estate management of being extremely vigilant.

He urged them to collaborate in close contact with their division police officer (DPO) to verify the authenticity of any alleged security staff before granting them entry into their properties.

Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining members of the band and their accomplices.
