The law drama between the nollywood stars May Edochie and Yinka Theisen, a former fiancée of Linc Edochie actor, has taken a new turn to be furious, because Theisen openly stated that he was “ready for battle” in response to defamation lawsuits ₦ 500 million proposed to him.

May looked for ₦ 500 million compensation from Yinka Theisen, accusing him of issuing false and evil statements intended to tarnish his reputation.

On August 19, 2025, it was able to send a ceasefire and termination letter through his lawyer, Mitra Graylaw, accused Yinka of evil fake, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and defamation.

Yinka allegedly posted a false and destructive statement about Mei on social media, which was characterized as “silly behavior, unreasonable and dangerous and evil threats,” according to the letter.

The notification called on public apologies on all Yinka platforms, the quick revocation of all publications slandered, and payment ₦ 500 million in damage.

Apart from a strong accusation, Yinka Theisen finally spoke, stating that he would not be intimidated. He vowed to fight the lawsuit directly in social media statements.

He wrote, “Once again, I hope Yul Edochie has violated my privacy. Placing my address on social media. You are really crazy!” You think you are the only one who can file a lawsuit? Get ready for a lifetime lawsuit. “
