The main European clubs join the search for the Saudi target Onuachu

Turkish Super Lig top scorer Paul Onuachu is Saudi club Al Ahli’s top transfer target, with several clubs in the German Bundesliga and French Ligue 1 already showing interest.

Four Bundesliga teams, including Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen, have been monitoring Trabzonspor’s 31-year-old Nigerian striker for some time.

These clubs are reportedly preparing to make an approach to the player in the summer.

There has also been interest from Al Ahli and some clubs in France.

Onuachu is considered a very suitable profile for the German league, where he could be considered a direct target forward for teams like Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg, or as an alternative option for a club like Bayer Leverkusen.

The giant striker has 31 caps for his country, has scored 21 goals in 24 Süper Lig appearances this season and is under contract until June 2028.

Its market value is listed by Transfer market like 6.00 million euros.

Reports from March 2026 suggest that German clubs Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen are willing to pay €15 million, while a possible move to Al Ahli is estimated at €10 million.
