Several members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Dawakin Tofa, the electoral college of the former national president of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, in the state of Kano, were Decampsi at the New Nigeria Peoples Party, nnpp.
The Governor of the State of Kano, Abba Yusuf, received the Decampees, at the Government House of Kano on Friday, according to a declaration of his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature.
Speaking at the event, Yusuf described the decampments as a clear approval of the programs and policies of his administration in the last two years.
Remembering his tour of the 2023 campaign in all 44 areas of the local government, including Dawakin Tofa, the governor said: “I promised to deliver dividends of democracy to every part of the state of Kano. Dawakin Tofa is a crucial local government in our struggle, and I am the happiest person to witness this massive lard by APC to Nnpp.”
The governor listed some of the projects of his administration in Dawakin Tofa, including the completion of a five kilometer road abandoned by the former administration, and has committed himself to building a new school in the electoral college.

Yusuf has ensured new members of the NNPP of full integration in the party without discrimination or intimidation and has promised more dividends of democracy, adding that a familiarization tour would be held in view of the general elections of 2027.
He also announced that Dawanau’s international market would be renovated in an agency managed by a council and a managing director for a better administration.
He praises the president of the local government of Dawakin Tofa for having generated N500m internally and using the funds to deliver projects, the governor has assured that all the complaints of the area would be faced.
The Prime Minister, in his observations, highlighted the completion of the projects in 15 primary schools and the sponsorship of over 1,000 students in tertiary institutions.
Even speaking, president of the state nnpp, Hon. Hashim Dungurawa, congratulated the deserters and expressed the trust that Dawakin Tofa would have replied the 2023’s 2023 success in Gwale. “God willing, Dawakin Tofa will do even better,” he said.
Those who have joined the nnpp include the Hon. Tumfafi nura, Hon. Isyaku Dahiru Kwa, Alhaji Umar Ismail, Alhaji Abba Muntari, Sani Shafiu, Hussini Adamu, Alhaji Abdullahi Ayuba, Magaji Ruba-Ruba, Sabo Adamu and Abdullahi Sale Turaki.
