The former Kaduna central senator, Shehu Sani, has associated the drainage of the new Abuja -Kaduna passenger train with official negligence, warning that the authorities failed to act even though the alarm repeatedly was appointed by the passengers.
In a post in his X -ranking, Sani stressed that passengers consistently expressed concern about the safety and condition of the track, but their worries were removed.
“The Abuja-Saduna train that slipped today (yesterday) is a direct result of negligence by the authorities concerned. For months, passengers have repeatedly complained about their experience on the track, but ignored,” he wrote.
