The president of Nigeria Football Federation (Nff) Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau said that the former president of the late captain of the Green Eagles captain “Christian Chukwuemeka Chukwu is a man who can never be forgotten.
Gusau spoke on Friday afternoon in Enugu when a delegation of the NFF and the presidents of the FA of the South area -est made a visit to condolences to the Chukwu family. Gusau, who spoke through the 1st vice-president of the NFF, the chief Felix Anyans-Agwu, described Chukwu as a diligent and patriotic leader on the field that served the country with all his heart and mind and any ounce of his energy.
“The deceased Chukwu gave everything for the country. He served Nigeria with all his heart and is also a hero in death. One thing is clear: Chukwu can never be forgotten given how well he served the country and his successes both as a player and as a coach,” said Gusau.
