The Nigerian army stated that soldiers were sought for exposing fraud in viral videos

The Nigerian army has declared a soldier who was desired after he shared a video clip where he accused the military hierarchy of leaving injured personnel when they were injured in carrying out their duties, forcing them to treat themselves with their own money.

In the video, the soldier condemned the bad welfare conditions of the army, especially those injured during the operation, added that the army did not provide medical support or financial assistance, even in a life -threatening situation.

“When a soldier is injured. If the soldier does not have his own money in his account, the army will die.

“If you are injured, it is your salary that you take to treat yourself. The Nigerian army does not take care of you. That has happened to me,” he complained.

However, as a reaction to the video, the Army authorities have come out to declare the soldiers identified as Lance Corpoal Festus Igenkhai, wanting to say that he has fled from his military duties in 2024 and since then became the creator of content and ‘was a disorder “on social media.

The defense head office that denied the accusation by Igenkhai in a statement on Tuesday said the soldier was declared awol by the Nigerian army after leaving his duties on November 8, 2024, while his military records were tarnished by repeated violations of the military code, especially the Nigerian Army social media policy.

“Despite facing the trial, he chose to escape and start posting inflammatory content and slandering online under the alias” ex man, “the statement said.

“The videos, often full of half truth and direct fabrication, aim to incite fellow soldiers and discredit military hierarchy, especially senior officers whose loyalty and performance is no doubt.

“Lance Corpoal Festus Igenkhai, a Nigerian soldier who is now hidden, has become naughty after leaving his position and the responsibility to pursue influence on social media.

“Registered almost four years ago, Igenkhai had been declared no without official leave (Awol) by the Nigerian Army after he left his position on November 8, 2024, with a clear violation of military regulations.

“He is currently being investigated for serious violations, violations of military discipline, and violations of desertion which are considered serious in the armed forces.

“Before the disappearance of cowards, the soldier had twice faced internal military trials on violations of strict military social media policies, including releasing content that was not approved online.

“Instead of learning his lessons, Igenkhai becomes bolder, adopting the handle of” ex man “in Tiktok, where he now vomits careless and slandering content aimed at discrediting senior officers including the head of service and sowing disadvantages in the ranks.

“In a series of delusions videos, he peddled unfounded claims and half -mature conspiracy theory, describing himself as a reporter while in reality he behaved like a dissatisfaction that could not meet the uniform standards he had wore.

“There are no accusations that are supported by evidence – only empty voices aimed at misleading viewers who are not suspicious and move unnecessary tensions.

“Let’s clarify: this is not a patriot. This is a fugitive, a man who betrayed his oath, leaving his colleagues, and now hiding behind a smartphone camera to throw insults at the same institution that once gave him pride, purpose, and uniform.

“There is a national hunt for Lance Corporal Festus Igenkhai while the security forces work all the time to find and bring it to court for violating the sacred principles of discipline and loyalty that bind Nigerian armed forces.”
