The northern youth dismissed the claim of the ADC Babachir Lawal Alliance as ‘fabrication without if’

A coalition of youth leaders from the north, under the Northern Ethnic Youth Group (Neyga) Assembly, has firmly rejected the former Secretary to the Federation Government, the new Babachir Lawal Declaration that the North has supported the Act of the Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Describe the claim as “shameless fabrication” and “hopeless political gamble,” Neyga criticized the move as unrepresentative and misleading, stating that it did not reflect the collective will of the North Stylers.

In a statement that was written signed by the group spokesman, Ibrahim and-Musa, and issued on Sunday, Neyga described the Declaration of Abuja as nothing more than the political theater designed to deceive the Nigerians.

“North Korea is not a political pawn that is manipulated by several elected people. Any decision with this amount must involve broad-based consultations with traditional rulers, youth leaders, and stakeholders of the Klandestin meeting of political workers,” said and the-Mus.

He accused the people behind the announcement of wrongly interpreting the North for a selfish reason, accusing that the meeting was only “Atiku Loyalist Meeting disguised as a North Representative.” The group warned the public to ignore what he called “cheating and unus democratic proclamation.”

Neyga did not refrain in criticizing the Lawal Babachir directly, accusing him and the allies -he said “exploiting the northern unity for personal revenge.”

“Many who are now disguised as regional champions have failed sadly when they are in power. We know the true patriots of opportunists.”

This group further states that the north will not be misled by people who want to advance personal ambitions with the guise of regional consensus.

“North Korea will not be carried out into other political misunderstandings by those who see our territory as a mere stepping stone for power,” the statement said.

When the political climate increased before the 2027 election, Neyga urged the northern citizens to be vigilant and reject what he called “political traders peddling fake consensus.”

“North wake up, and we will not be fooled again,” the statement concluded.

This development indicates the increasing tension in the northern political circle, when the main stakeholders begin to position themselves in front of what is expected to be the contested season.
