The OSun team is established for the Zonal Playoffs of the Southwest before the National Sports Festival of 2024

The contingent of the state of OSun will depart from Osoagbo on Monday, February 24, 2025 for Ibadan, state of Oyo, to participate in the Zonal Elimination Playoffs of the Southwest for team sports before the 22nd National Sports Festival (NSF) – Games Games of entrance door 2024.

The OSun team will compete in football, basketball, volleyball, handball, hockey and beach volleyball, facing lake teams, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti in an attempt to ensure the qualification for the national event.

Leading the delegation is the general manager of the Sports Board of the State of OSun, Mr. Rotimi Dunmoye, together with the special assistant of the governor in Matteras de Fútbol, ​​HE. Kehinde Johnson; Coaching and Training Director, Mr. Demola Daini; Mrs. Ronke Ajibola, and other key officials, secretaries, coaches and team managers.

After intensive training sessions, athletes have reaffirmed their dedication to the delivery of better results and proud Osun State.

The Zonal Elimination Playoffs of the Southwest, scheduled from February 23 to 28, 2025, are carried out in two approved places: Liberty Stadium, Ibadan and Ilaji Sports Resort. The playoffs, which occur simultaneously in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, will have eight team sports: basketball, hockey, cricket, football, handball, volleyball, beach and beach volleyball.
