The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) ordered the grounding of the Airomobile Air Aeromobile RraI with a 5n-Bzia registration number.
The decision followed an accident involving the plane, which according to what was reported a engine during an abuja-katsina flight.
The report stated that the NCAA made the decision in line with a rigorous aeronautical security protocol among all the vectors operating in the Nigerian airspace.
The aircraft, as reported, has experienced a malfunction on the engine 1 during the flight.
Smoking was observed in the cabin and in the piloting cabin.
In response, the flight crew immediately activated oxygen masks and all the appropriate emergency procedures to prepare for the safe landing.
Sources was mentioned for saying that smoking disappeared before landing and the plane was landed safely without further accidents.
The accident caused the interruption of the airline program as it is interested in travelers who expected to start from Sokoto to another destination were blocked.
A rescue plane had already climbed aboard the passengers of Abuja -Katsina while the sokoto leg of the operation had been deleted.
A preliminary report of the Necaa indicated that the management of Air Force has commissioned that the planes were on the ground waiting for investigations on complete safety.
“Engineers are currently examining the aircraft on the ground to determine the main cause of the engine and smoking problem,” added the report.

The NCAA promised to release further updates on the accident once the investigations on 5N-Bzy planes ended.
