Police officers attached to the border patrol zone 4, Katsina, have rejected N1 million bribes and confiscated a suspected stolen vehicle in the Masha regional government in the state.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Abubakar Aliyu, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday in Katsina.
He said: “On April 11, 2025, around 3:00 pm, while patrolling routinely along the village of Birnin Kuka, the Regional Government of Mashi in the state of Katsina, officers attached to the border of Patrol Zone 4, Katsina, lowered the Toyota Corolla Le.
“() The color of green, driven by one mubarak kabir, aged 26, and there is Hashim, 27, all places of Kurna, Fagge Regional Government, Kano State.

“During the initial investigation, it was known that the vehicle was reportedly stolen from FCT Abuja.
“The suspects then offered bribery ₦ 1,000,000 cash to the patrol team to avoid justice, which was rejected by the officers firmly.”
Aliyu said the suspects are now in police custody for further investigation.
He revealed that suspected stolen vehicles, N1 million cash, three cellphones, one electricity bank and many keys were found from the suspects as exhibitions.
