The Popular Assembly of Oduwa warns the Nigerians against the new political coalition

The Popular Assembly of Oduwa (Opa) advised the Nigerians to pay attention to the emergence of a new political coalition called to Democratic Alliance (Ada), led by the former vice -president Atiku Abubakar.

He said that while the formation of new political alliances is a normal democratic process, opa has said that Ada, as currently constituted, represents a significant threat to the integrity and future of our nation.

In a statement by the group leader, Richard Olatunji Kayode, Monday, in Abuja, expressed serious concern for the composition of the coalition, claiming that his leadership is made up of people with poor documents in the public service.

“Ada leadership includes individuals who have long been associated with political opportunism, a trait that has seriously undermined the trust of the Nigerian people in their leadership.

โ€œThe key figures such as Nasir El-Roma and Rotimi Amaechi, among others, have been discredited through their actions and political during their handles in office. Their registers reveal a worrying governance problem characterized by personal interest and a clear contempt for the well-being of the Nigerian population.

“Nasir El-Romai, a former governor of the Kaduna state, is emblematic of the type of leadership that has brought our nation to their knees. His administration has been marked by controversial policies and lack of transparency that has left many citizens questioning his commitment for democratic principles.

โ€œHis involvement in Ada raises serious concerns about the intentions of the coalition, since he repeatedly demonstrated the desire to give priority to the political gain on the needs of the people who was elected to serve.

“In the same way, Rotimi Amaechi, the former transport minister has a history of political maneuvers that has often favored his personal ambitions rather than the collective good. His leadership style has been criticized for having favored division and conflict rather than unity and progress.

“The opa therefore believes that the inclusion of these figures in ADA is indicative of a coalition that is more interested in consolidating the power than to face the urgent issues that our nation must face.

โ€œThe despair exhibited by the leadership of the ADA is palpable. In an attempt to regain relevance and influence, these political opportunists are trying to reconfirm under a new banner, hoping that the electorate will forget their misdeed past.

โ€œHowever, the Nigerian people are not easily deceived. Voters are increasingly aware of the need for a true leadership that gives priority to responsibility, integrity and common good.

โ€œAda leadership is not equipped to offer the transformative change that Nigeria desperately needs; instead, it represents a regression to the practices themselves that have suffocated our progress.

“It is therefore our duty to ask our leaders better and consider them responsible for their past actions and challenge the narratives that try to mislead us. We cannot be influenced by the superficial charm of a new political coalition led by Screen Figure.
