The head of the state civil service of the rivers, dr. George Nwaeke, he resigned from his position.
His resignation were contained in a declaration of the head of the staff to the only administrator, the deputy admiral IBOK-ETE IBAS (RETD.), Tuesday morning.
The administrator expressed gratitude for the Nwaeke service and wished him success in his future efforts.
The declaration stated: “The office of his excellence, the administrator of the State of Rivers, Vice Admiral (RETD.) IBOK-ETE EKWE IBAS CFR, regrets to announce the resignation of the head of the service, Rivers State, Dr. George Nwaeke.
His excellence appreciates his contributions during his period in office and wishes him his future activities well. “
Following this development, Ibas has appointed Prof. Ibibi Worika as the new secretary of the state government of Rivers (SSG).
Another declaration of the administrator’s office confirmed the appointment of Worika, citing his vast experience in the academic world, international legal practice and political consultancy roles.
“His excellence, the deputy admiral IBOK-ETE EKWE IBAS (RETD.) See, is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Ibibia Lucky Worika as a new SSG.
His selection follows an in -depth revision of his credentials and performances in a rigorous selection process.
“The experience of Professor Worika will be decisive in supporting the administrator’s mandate to bring stability and safety to the state of sparrows.
His appointment has an immediate effect. “
