A member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmalik Zubairu (APC – Zamfara) paid ₦ 15.2 million scholarships to 508 students by Abddu Gusau Polytechnic, Talata Mafara Zamfara.

Speaking at Saturday’s presentation at his BunguDu electoral office, Zubairu said that the initiative was part of his efforts to support education, in particular for students of less privileged families.

He was represented by the president of his scholarship committee, Mallam Muhammad Adamu.

Zubairun said that the gesture aimed to help students complete their studies and contribute significantly to the development of the state and the nation.

“The 508 beneficiaries are indigenous of the areas of the local government of Bungudu and Maru who currently study various courses at the Abddu Gusau Polytechnic in the area of ​​the local government of Talata Mafara.

“Each beneficiary has received n30,000 as scholarships.

“The gesture aims to support students of less privileged families, who have difficulty paying school taxes,” he said.
