Nigeria’s sports minister John Enoh is optimistic that the Super Falcons will make it past the group stage at the 2024 Olympics.
The Super Falcons began their Paris 2024 campaign on a disappointing note, falling 1-0 to Brazil.
Randy Waldrum’s team must now beat world champions Spain in their next match on Sunday to have any chance of advancing to the quarterfinals.
Enoh, who praised the players for their rousing display against Brazil, believes they have the quality to beat Spain.
