The teacher is anchored for polluting minor in Kaduna

Two female teachers from the Zaria Children’s School, Kaduna State, were charged in the Court of Judges Head of State who sat on Zaria’s cultural-wada, because of the alleged impurities of a minor on Thursday.

Zaria Children School, located in Queen Elizabeth Road, Gra, Zaria, is one of the most famous and oldest schools in the city.

The school was built by the colonial masters.

Prosecutor, ASC Mustapha Abdulkadir, said the two teachers and three other teachers (now in general) stood tried because of unnatural violations (lesbianism).

He said the violation was contrary to part 259 of the 2017 Criminal Code State Kaduna.

The prosecutor told the court that on September 11, a Yahaya Aliyu from the Jukun Budun area, Zaria, came to the Nigerian Civil Defense and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), the Zaria regional command and reported the defendants.

He said the defendants were Atoyebi-Eunice Temitope, Adeyemo Damilola, and three others now in general.

He accused that sometimes on September 18, when the complainant’s wife was bathing the victim, a 11-year-old student and a junior high school student (JSS-1) at the school, he observed that the victim was persecuted.

“After being interrogated at home, the victim mentioned the names of the defendant and accused that it began around 2023, when the victim was in primary three.

“It was also accused that the first defendant, Temitope (known as a victim as Mrs. Okasha) brought the victim to the toilet near class 4A during the long rest lesson period and put objects into his private section.

“He accused that the incident occurred three times and further accusing that Mrs. Okasha threatened to tell the kidnappers to kidnap him if he expressed his affair on anyone.”

Senior Judge Rabi Hashim postponed this issue until October 22, to be further mentioned, waiting for legal advice from the Ministry of Justice of the State of Kaduna.

He also ordered that the defendants be returned at the Zaria Correctional Center.
