The terrorism and the patch solution of Oloremi Tinubu, of Erasmus …

The recent donation of n1 billion and 1,800 bags of rice from the Nigerian First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, to the victims of the terrorist attacks of the Plateau state,

It is scheduled for the offer of the presidential re -election of her husband. After all, the separation of sovereign powers from the deliberate massacre is a gaming game of cheese along the age adopted to keep the nations in a perpetual servitude. We will discuss it shortly.

While the gesture is undoubtedly a show of empathy and solidarity, it raises questions about the effectiveness of these measures in facing the causes of the crisis root. An Nigerian government agency, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in its latest report said that the country has recorded over 600,000 deaths from insecurity between May 2023 and April 2024.

The report, released two months ago with users who have difficulty accessing the website due to a hack, said that no less than 614,937 people were killed nationally while the North-West devastated by Banditi saw the highest figure with 206,030.

It was followed by the North -est with 188,992, while the minimum was recorded in the South -ovest to 15,693, according to the report.

“The report is accurate and comes from NBS

The NBS added that Nigerians and a total of (N2.231.772.563.507 ($ 1,438,040,707.01 were kidnapped) were paid in redemption.

Nigeria is facing multiple security challenges in different regions. While the country is fighting with an insurrection of Boko Haram in the north -est, the bandits and the kidnapping are high in the north -ovest. These stunning numbers highlight the seriousness of the safety situation in the country. In this context: the donation of the First Lady can be seen as a patch solution, facing the symptoms rather than the disorders below.

The times of the donation are also noteworthy, arriving just before the new attacks emerged in the state of the plateau. This raises concerns about the sustainability of these measures and on the need for a more global approach to deal with the safety crisis in Nigeria.

A question that asks an answer is if it would no longer be effective to equip the military of modern intelligence collection devices, firearms while guaranteeing timely payment of the allowances for officers on the battlefield. The complaints by the soldiers on the military off “eating their indemnities” suggest a deeper question within the logistics and the army supply chain.

Furthermore, the statement according to which First Lady is spending its personal funds without political shades is cummar, given the presidential ambitions of her husband. The question remains: is this donation a real attempt to support victims or advertising acrobatics?

The silence of the Nigerian government on corruption within the army is also deafening. The lack of responsibility and transparency in military operations has contributed to the security crisis, and it is imperative that the government adopts concrete measures to deal with this problem.

But we like to make progress on the horrible witness of the massacre every day while we move on to the general elections of 2027 for a reason because the concept of how authoritarian tyrants or leaders who create problems for their citizens and then pretend to solve them is apparently in place. These old tricks of tactics of “resolution of the reaction of problems” or “false flag” were the recipe for the destruction of a nation.

A tyrannical leader or government deliberately or aggravates a problem, such as a security crisis, an economic crisis or social disorders. The leader therefore presents itself as the solution to the problem they have created, offering draconian measures or policies that further erode the rights and freedoms of citizens in the form of monetary presentations and some rice bags.

By controlling the narrative and response to the problem, the leader can consolidate their power, suppress dissent and maintain a socket on the population. This tactic can be used to justify a series of policies, surveillance and censorship to militarization and repression. It is a classic strategy used by authoritarian regimes to maintain control and manipulate public opinion, in a way implemented by Lenin and Stalin.

While the donation of the First Lady is a welcome gesture – it is essential to recognize that it is only a temporary solution – adopted by brutal and ruthless dictators in political history. The Nigerian government must adopt a more holistic approach to deal with the security crisis, including the military equipment, face corruption and promotion of sustainable development. Only then can we hope to see a lasting solution to the pervasive terrorism crisis throughout Nigeria.
