The defense headquarters on Saturday confirmed the arrest of security agents who worked with terrorists in the northeast.
Director of Defense Media Operations, General Major. Markus Kangye, said in a statement in Abuja that the suspects, including two members of the Hybrid forces who worked with troops to fight the rebellion in the zone.
He added that the suspects were arrested during the operations carried out in all regions of the Bama, Kukawa and Madagali Regional Government in the state between April 26 and April 29.
The spokesman warned the commanders to make their personnel aware of actions that could sabotage military efforts in the country.

He said: “In a well-coordinated operation carried out from April 26-29, 2025 in Bama, Kukawa, and LGA Madagali from Borno and Adamawa countries, the troops intercepted the logistics suppliers of four terrorists. Unfortunately, two of them were confirmed as members of hybrid troops.
“In another operation,” troops, along with hybrid troops, carried out offensive operations including patrol battles, raids and permission missions in Gwoza, Dikwa, Bama, Chibok, Gujba, Geidam, and the regional government of Yunusari. “
