The troops killed a terrorist suspect, saved 39 hostages in the operation

The troops deployed to various operations theater have killed several terrorist suspects in the raids in the hiding places of criminals in the northern part of the country.

They also arrested the suspect and saved 39 people who were kidnapped in the operation.

A reliable source at the Nigerian Army headquarters in Abuja told reporters on Saturday that the operation was carried out throughout the northeast, north-middle, and northwest.

According to the source, the Hadin Kai Operations forces (OPHK) killed a terrorist and restored weapons and ammunition in separate operations in the state of Borno.

He said the troops thwarted the attack efforts in Dikwa and the Gubio Regional Government territory.

They also dismantled improvisation explosives (IED) along the Kauwa Baga -Cross road in Kukawa Regional Government (LGA).

The source said that troops under the operation of Yamma fans in Kaduna and Katsina’s state cleared terrorist hiding places, found weapons, and rescued a soldier who had been kidnapped in July in the state of Zamfara.

“Also, in Kogi, 12 brigade troops in collaboration with Hybrid and Waspada forces saved 17 kidnapping victims after trailing their kidnappers from the bus left to the hiding place in LGA Advi.

“The victims were evacuated safely and given medical attention,” added the source.
