The troops saved six people who were kidnapped in Kogi

The 12 troops of the Nigerian Brigade army, Lokoja, have saved six people who were kidnapped in the Obajana area in the state of Kogi.

The operation was carried out in early Thursday in collaboration with other security agents.

Commander of 12 Nigerian Brigade soldiers, Brig.-Gen. Kasim Sidi, who spoke to journalists on Thursday in Obajana, said that rescue operations were possible through intelligent reporting and meetings.

Sidi, represented by Battalion Commander 126, Lieutenant Colonel Francis Nwoffiah, said the troops tracked the kidnappers to the location in the forest, where they made the victims.

He added that the kidnappers fled in a different direction and left their victims because of the superior shooting capacity of the troops.
