The Safe Haven Operations Forces (Opsh) on Wednesday thwarted attacks by armed people on the Teagbe community in Bassa, the regional area of ββthe highlands.
The oph media officer, Major Samaon Zhakom, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in JOS.
Armediaries have attacked the Zike and Kimakpa community two weeks ago in Bassa and killed the score.
They also destroyed houses, agricultural land, and other property.
Zhakom said two suspects were arrested in connection with the attack.
He said: “Opsh troops have thwarted a criminal attack on Teegbe Village at Bassa LGA.

“The attack, which occurred on April 23, was opposed by our troops who responded to the nickname of the community.
“The troops quickly mobilized to the scene, made contact with the attackers who fled to the side of the side of the adjacent high ground, and neutralize one of the attackers during the weapon duel.
“Further combing of the environment causes the arrest of two suspects who are currently undergoing interrogation.”
Zhakom also revealed that the troops neutralized three alleged armed robbers on Jalan Katnan-Buratali, Kadarko District in Wase LGA.
He said a pistol made locally was found from the suspects.
