The United States mission has changed the interview requirements for Nigeria to submit a visa to America.
The mission announced changes in the statement posted on its website on Friday.
Changes will apply on April 22.
In the new settings, the mission of directing visa applicants in Abuja and Lagos to take the DS-160 visa application form with a confirmation/barcode number that began with “AA” followed by two zero.
The code must match the one used to schedule an online applicant gathering.

“Failure to verify the alignment will result in rejection of the consular department or visa interview.
“At least two weeks before your interview, please check again that the barcode number on your DS-160 form matches what you use to schedule your gathering.
“You cannot reuse DS-160 from the previous application. If your DS-160 barcode is wrong, you must enter your Avits account at least 10 days before your meeting to make a support ticket that asks for your barcode number correction,” read the statement.
