This seriously sick girl was ordered to leave the US by the White House – but the doctor said she could die in a few days | US News

At the lawyer’s office in the center of Los Angeles City, a little girl sat at a table made for adults – a small coach who hung on the edge of a rotary chair.

He is surrounded by dozens of TV cameras but do not have an understanding of why he suddenly became the center of attention.

Sofia, whose real name we did not use, was a sick four -year -old child who was trapped in the Bidik Line Donald Trump Immigration policies that sweep and often.

The White House has ordered him to immediately leave the US, but Doctor Sofia at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital said that – if he was sent back to his home country in Mexico and his treatment stopped – he could die in a few days.

But in April – three months entering the presidency of Donald Trump – the 28 -year -old man received a letter from the Department of Domestic Security, telling him that the right of the family to live in the country was being revoked.

“It’s time to leave the United States,” the smell of the first line of the letter.

“Even before getting the letters, I will hear in the news how many people are deported, even with a parole of humanitarian parole, and I am very worried,” said Deysi.

“I always walk on the road to see from behind my shoulder, there are so many fear and so much anxiety, very difficult.

“It is always in my mind that my daughter can die. This might not sound real, but that is really what will happen if my daughter is not connected to her treatment.”

Lawyer Sofia warned that if there was a disturbance for treatment, the doctor said it could be “fatal in a few days”.

The lawyers have written letters to officials in Trump’s government, but said they had not heard the news.

“It seems that no one noticed that this child was four years old and he would die without treatment,” Ms. Lough said.

“And they do not only respond, but they continue to send notifications to families who verify that their status has been canceled and that they are required to immediately leave the United States.

“Doctor Sofia is clear that he will die within a few days. This family deportation in this condition does not only violate the law, but is also a moral failure that violates the basic principles of humanity and politeness.”

In a statement, the Department of Domestic Security said: “Every reporting [the family] Actively deported is wrong. This family submitted a request for humanitarian parole on May 14, 2025, and the application was still considered. “

When approached by Sky News, Tsar Border Trump Tom Homan refused special knowledge about the Sofia case, but said he would instruct the White House press office to “see” the situation.

For now, Sofia is a small symbol of human victims from immigration policies that often do not bow and cruel.
