Thread introducing community features, hot appearing in Elon

The fast meta social platform, threads, has launched a new community feature, a step that is widely seen as a direct challenge for Elon Musk’s X (previously Twitter).

This update allows users to create and join an interest-based group, where conversations can be more structured and focus on topics with the Reddit forum or Facebook group, but are integrated into the ecosystem that develops.

The community is designed to give users a sense of ownership and deeper involvement, moving applications outside of individual posts and schedules.

According to a statement from Meta, the aim is to provide “specific areas users in the application where they can dig more in conversations about topics that are important to them.” Every community has a unique “like” emojis that can be used by people who participate in conversations. Utas Profile User will show the community they have followed.

Analysts said the move could be a turning point for Utas, who had positioned himself as a more friendly alternative, the first conversation for X. While the Musk platform relied on news, politics, and direct comments, the Utas community was expected to attract users around hobbies, lifestyle interest, and niche discussion.

This launch also indicates the intention of Meta to maintain the scaling utas quickly, because the platform has crossed 200 million active users since its debut in mid-20123. Society can deepen retention, increase user interaction, and strengthen thread battles for dominance in microblogging and real-time conversation space.
