Three members of the Chamber of Representatives of the State of Katsina, originally elected on the platform of the Democratic Party of people (PDP), officially joined the Congress All Progressives (APC).

In the letter, the legislators cited in progress internal crises and unresolved issues within the PDP as the main reasons to leave the part.
They expressed concern about the fact that the instability within the PDP has hindered their ability to effectively serve their components and align with the principles of progressive governance.
The governor of the state of Katsina, Dikko Radda, participated in the plenary in a support show for defective legislators, underlining political change.
