Three feared dead, 7 rescued in boat accident in Bauchi

At least three people are feared dead in a boat accident on Zindiwa River, Gamawa local government area, Bauchi State on Saturday.

Eyewitnesses told reporters that the boat carrying 10 passengers capsized while trying to cross the river at around 4 p.m.

However, seven other passengers were rescued by emergency personnel.

The cause of the accident was unknown at the time this report was filed.
