Three LP Dump Repetitions for PDP in Enugu

Three members of the House of Representatives on Thursday dispose of the Labor Party for the Democratic People’s Party (PDP) in the Enugu state.

The defectors are members of the parliament representing IGBOEHE/Udenu and IGBOEHE South/Nsukka Federal Constitutencies, Mr. Dennis Agbo and Mark-Chidi Obetta.

The third member is Bpk. Malachi-oxy onyechi from NSUKKA West State Constituency.

On Tuesday, two LP chiefs, Prince Emeka Mamah and Titus Odo, turned to PDP almost two weeks after the party governor candidate in the 2023 election, Chijioke Edeoga, moved to PDP.

In his speech at the PDP Secretariat in Enugu, Onyechi stated happiness that he had returned to the previous party and promised to advance the party.

He praised the steps of the development of Governor Peter Mbah, said he had institutionalized the N2 billion project domiciled in 260 political wards in Enugu.

On his party, Obetta, explained that his return to PDP was based on the development index in Enugu, especially on transportation, education, health and hospitality.

“The state of Enugu will reach more if everyone partners with Mbah,” he said.

Agbo also thanked his constituents for their understanding and described them as great people.
