Thugs take over #FearlessInOctober protest in Port Harcourt, beat journalists (Video)

Thugs and hoodlums have reportedly taken over the #FearlessInOctober protest in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, attacking and beating journalists for daring to film it.

According to Channels Television, the thugs, using sticks and other weapons, took over the protest site in front of the Federal Secretariat, and forcibly evicted the protesters.

They also reportedly beat several journalists who dared to film their attacks.

“Thugs have taken over the protest site in front of the Federal Secretariat along Aba Road in Port Harcourt.

“They are brandishing sticks, saying they don’t want any protests in Rivers state. They said they would beat up any journalist who dared to film them,” the outlet wrote on its X handle.
