Timothy Boniface exudes confidence before the second nnl round

Before the resumption of the second stanza of the Captain of the Nigeria National League (NNL) of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (Ilorin) Football Club, Timothy Boniface has expressed optimism of a better performance.

The team is preparing to face Gateway United at the Dina Stadium Dipo in Ijebu Oda this weekend and Timothy Boniface believes that they would begin their search for a super eight with a victory on Saturday.

“This second round we are presenting our best and we hope that everything is doing well,” Captain Boniface said in an interview with ABS Ilorin Media after Thursday’s training.

“It was not an easy task for us in the first round due to some small errors. We want to correct the error in this second round.” Affirmed.

Boniface expressed his trust in God and the team’s ability to offer a better performance in the second stanza. “We believe and trust that God will see us during the second round. We are also believing in ourselves because we are giving everything possible to ensure that this second round will favor us.”

Boniface revealed that he has spoken with the players, and everyone is committed to doing their best. “If we gave 70 percent in the first round, this second round we want to give 120. Because we do not want to be relegated this time. We want to compete for the Super 8”.

Boniface also praised the new players who have joined the team, saying that they are better than those who left. “The new players who have joined are good, are better than those who left, are ready to put at their best. And if we join our hands together, we will mention the best for the team.”

Currently, ABS Ilorin FC is in the seventh position, but Captain Boniface hopes that the second round will end in first or second place. “Looking at the position in which we are now, we are in the seventh position now before the end of this second round, we believe and trust God that we will end first or the second with the best. He concluded.

ABS ILORIN FC will leave for Ijebu Ode on Friday before Saturday’s clash against Gateway United.
