Tinubu Bola President has canceled the National Democratic Day broadcast scheduled for Thursday morning.
The president was initially scheduled to speak to Nigeria at 7:00 in the morning on Thursday as part of the activity that marked this year’s democratic day celebration in the country.
Director of Information and Public Relations at the Secretary’s Office for the Federation Government, Segun Imohiocene, said in a statement in Abuja that the national broadcast was canceled because of the President Tinubu’s schedule program with a joint session with the National Assembly in Abuja.
According to him, the President now delivered a direct democratic day speech from the National Assembly Room.
The statement reads: “Because the Tinubu Ball President scheduled attendance in the joint session of the National Assembly, the President’s National Broadcast on June 12 was canceled. President Tinubu will deliver his speech from the National Assembly.”
