[Press Release] President Bola Tinubu condemned the government and the people of Benue’s state for the disappearance of Audu Ogbeh, a former president of the Popular Democratic Party (PDP).
President Tinubu also commissioned the family, friends and members of the deceased statesman.
Ogbeh, who was 78 years old, served in Nigeria in different administrations, including the Minister of Communications in the Second Republic and subsequently as Minister of Agriculture under President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Tinubu recognized the intellectual contribution of Mr. Ogbeh to the political formulation and its articulation of practical solutions at complex national challenges.
The president recognized that Ogbeh, who joined politics in the 70s as a legislator, was a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“The boss Audu Ogbeh was a patriot whose wisdom, dedication and pursuit of the progress left an indelible sign on the political scene of Nigeria. He was always ready with facts and figures to support his propositions. The nation will seriously miss his inspired prospects and the wealth of experience,” said President Tinubu.
The president asked that the omnipotent God received the soul of the deceased and comforted his family.
