Tinubu Felicita orji Kalu at 65

On Monday, President Bola Tinubu congratulated Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of the State and Senator Abia, representing the Senatorial District of the North Abia, for his 65th birthday.

Tinubu reflected on their lasting friendship and shared commitment for national progress, rooted in their belonging to the “class of ’99” governors, Bayo Onanuga, spokesman for the president, said in a note.

The president enhanced the former unwavering patriotism of the former Whip, recalling decades of collaboration marked by mutual respect, also with political differences.

He praised Kalu’s entrepreneurial spirit, as embodied in his institution of holding slok and investments in the banking sector and in the media, initiatives that have created hundreds of jobs.

“Senator Kalu, my friend, is a patriot whose life embodies the resilience, generosity and transformative power of visionary leadership.

“On this milestone, he celebrated his contributions to the economic and political Arazzo of our nation”, President Tinubu was mentioned.

He prayed to the omnipotent God to grant Kalu renewed strength, wisdom and many other years of service of great impact on Nigeria and humanity.
