Ball President Ahmed Tinubu on Friday held a closed meeting with Nigeria’s leading safety leadership at the presidential villa in Abuja, because fears of growing due to new security threats in some parts of the country.
Who were present at the strategic meeting were defense chiefs, General Christopher Musa; Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede; Air Staff Chief of Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar; Navy Chief of Staff, Deputy Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla; and Police Inspector General, Kayode Egbetokun.
Although the president has not released an official details, the meeting is believed to be focused on overcoming the increase in violence and new insecurity, especially in the northern region of the country, where security forces have been involved in intensive operations against rebels and other criminal elements.

The source close to the president’s villa shows that the meeting might involve a briefing on the ongoing counter-sighed efforts and the possibility of strategic adjustments to ensure better results.
At the time of the press, no official statement was issued regarding the specific considerations or resolution achieved during the meeting. However, the meeting underlined sustainable concern and high level involvement with Nigerian security challenges.
