President Tinubu Bola has condemned the murder of mobile hunters in the state of Edo.
At least seven hunters were intercepted by local vigilant group members for the allegation that they were kidnappers in the Uromi community in the North Esan Regional Government in the state and were killed on Thursday.
The President, in a statement issued on Friday by a special advisor about information and strategies, Bayo onanuga, expressed surprise at cowardly actions and, directing the police and other security institutions to provoke the perpetrators and punish them.

Tinubu sympathized with the families of the victims affected and convinced them that criminals would not be allowed to shed the blood of innocent Nigerians in vain.
The President noted that forest justice has no place in Nigeria, and all Nigerians have the freedom to move freely in any part of the country.
He praised the Governor of Monday Okpebholo and community leaders in Uromi for their rapid response to prevent tension in the community.
