Tinubu Bola President on Wednesday met with the elected governor at the Congress Platform All Progressive (APC) in the State Building, Abuja.
The meeting lasted only 24 hours before the APC National Executive Committee session in APC (NEC) in the banquet of the State Building.
The Governor of the IMO state, Hope Uzodimma, led his colleagues to a closed meeting.
In a chat with correspondents of the state building shortly after the meeting, Uzodimma said that his party aimed to strengthen the party and increase its capacity to provide good governance to Nigerians.
He noted that the governor, as a sub-national leader, met to harmonize with the president at the direction of the party and priority of governance.

“So this is only a friendly discussion with the President to strengthen our party and to be able to help serve Nigeria better.”
When asked about the potential of the results of the meeting, Uzodimma added: “We cannot predict anything until we arrive there tomorrow (Thursday).”
NEC is expected to overcome the problems of the main party and describe strategies for effective unity and leadership.
Also, the issue of the Substantive National Chair will be resolved at the meeting, after Abdullahi Ganduje’s resignation last month.
