The President of the Tinubu soccer has ordered the military to face terrorists Boko Haram, Bandit, and other criminal gangs in the country.

Tinubu gave an order at the Grand Finale in 2025 the Nigerian Army Day celebration held in the State of Kaduna on Saturday.

The President, represented by the event by Vice President Kashim Sheettims, reiterated the commitment of his government to the welfare of officers and people from the armed forces.

He promised to invest more in modern equipment, intelligence, and human resources to increase military effectiveness.

Tinubu said: “The Nigerian army has never been a weapon force. It has become a symbol of unity and task. That made the Nigerian civil war end.

“With the eternal words spoken by the retired General of Jacobu Gowon, now sitting in this place. There is no winner, not defeated, reminding us that we are one person with one destiny, and outside our border, our men and women have brought our high flags on peace missions on all continents and around the world.

“They have struggled not to be conquered, but for peace. They do not support power, but for principles. Today, we respect the eternal sacrifice of these men and women.

“We respect those who have paid the highest price. And we respect those who continue to wear uniforms, which stand at our democratic gates, protect us from those who will undermine it.”

Rebels Boko Haram, Bandit and Shepherd have killed hundreds of people in Benue, Borno Plateau and other parts of the country in recent weeks.
