Ball President Ahmed Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after cutting the two -week work vacation planned in Europe.
This development was announced in an official statement issued by a spokesman for President Bayo Onanuga, entitled: “President Tinubu ended the holidays before the schedule, returning to Abuja tomorrow.”
“The Ball President Ahmed Tinubu has ended his work vacation faster than the schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to continue the official task,” the statement said.
Tinubu left Nigeria on September 4, 2025, for a work holiday in Europe, which was originally scheduled to stretch 10 working days. The President will divide his time between France and Britain.
“President Tinubu will spend a period between France and Britain and then return to the country,” the previous president announced when he revealed his travel plan.

While living in Paris, the president met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the élysée palace. According to Onanuga, the two leaders held a private lunch and discussed bilateral relations.
“Last week in Paris, President Tinubu held a private lunch with his French colleague, President Emmanuel Macron, at the élysée palace. The two leaders reviewed the main fields of cooperation between Nigeria and France and agreed to deepen the partnership for joint prosperity and global stability,” the statement added.
Although there is no official reason given for the initial return, Tinubu’s decision to cut his rest time shows a new focus on the urgent national problem when he continued his official task in Abuja.
