Tinubu takes new appointments for the development authorities of the river basin – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved new appointments to strengthen the leadership of the River Basin Development Authorities in the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.

At the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, Abeokuta, Sowade Oluwakayodo Adebayo will replace Engr. Julius Oloro as executive director of engineering services.

At the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority, Chucks Erhire enters the role of executive director of engineering services, happening to Dr. Austin Nonyelim Izagbo.

The president appointed Kubba Hassan on Sunday as executive director of planning at the Bassa Basso River Basin Development Authority, replacing the chief Chris Tarka.

Engr. Okibe Timothy maintains his current position as an executive director of engineering at the Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority.

President Tinubu urged the appointed to support the highest standards of integrity and performance while working to improve the management of water resources and rural development for the benefit of all Nigerians.
