Tinubu to sign a Tax Reform Bill on Thursday

The President of the Tinubu soccer will sign the law of four tax reform bills initiated by his government on Thursday.

Four Nigerian Tax Bill, Nigerian Tax Administration Bill, Nigerian Revenue Service Bill (Establishment), and the Joint Revenue Board Bill (Establishment) has been ratified by the National Assembly.

Special advisors about information and strategies to the President, Bayo Onanuga, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday night in Abuja.

It reads: “When the new tax law becomes operational, they are expected to significantly change the tax administration in the country, which leads to increased income, improvement of the business environment, and encouragement in domestic and foreign investment.

“By reducing the amount of taxes and eliminating duplication, this bill will increase the ease of doing business, reducing the burden of taxpayer compliance, and creating a more predictable fiscal environment.”
