The Tinubu Bola President has reiterated the commitment of his government to support the Nigerian armed forces, stating that Nigeria will not surrender to the threats caused by internal or external forces who want to confuse the country.
Speaking to the troops during the visit increased morals to the front lines in the state of Katsina on Friday, Tinubu issued a strong warning to those behind acts of terror and sabotage.
“For those who are trying to confuse our nation, whether they are domestic collaborators or foreign agents, hearing this: Nigeria will not submit, not afraid; not for terror, not for betrayal,” the President said.
The visit took place amid a series of deadly attacks in several states, including Borno, Plateau, Benue, and Enugu, where the community had experienced armed bombings and raids.
Tinubu, who described the armed forces as “guardians who were silent from our democracy,” praised troops for their courage and sacrifice, said that their services were not immune from attention.
“You are a Nigerian shield, a brave son and daughter standing among our people and the power of terror. Every inch of the land you hold, every terrorist you neutralize, and every community you secure is victory for justice, freedom, and the future of our children,” he said.
The President convinces the forces of sustainable support, not only in weapons and logistics but also in the welfare and welfare of the family.
“Your welfare is my top priority,” Tinubu stressed. “We are committed to ensuring your family is safe, your allowance is paid immediately, your health care is guaranteed, and your dignity is upheld.”
He registered ongoing initiatives, including housing schemes, family support systems, insurance coverage, and increasing wages as an ongoing effort to improve the quality of life of personnel.
Recognizing the great task before the armed forces, Tinubu described the current struggle against terrorism and bandits as a decisive moment in the history of the nation.
“The threat of terrorism, bandits, and rebellion has lasted too long. Nigeria relies on us and to you to end this threat and reclaim every inch of our territory,” he said.
The president urged the troops to maintain an unwavering determination, noting that the battle would not be won with weapons alone, but by unity, determination, and desire to win.
“My dear tentara, let your determination echo in every valley and forest. Let the enemies of Nigeria know – when they are up,” he said.
Concluding his speech, Tinubu promised to match the courage of troops with determining leadership and sustainable investment in national security.
“With your courage and discipline, peace will apply,” he said. “Nigeria depends on you, and I am with you – today, tomorrow, and always. Stay strong. Stay focused. For God and State.”
