Tinubu will save Nigeria’s economy – Governor Uzodinma – TrendyNewsReporters

Governor Hope Uzodinma has said President Bola Tinubu can save Nigeria’s economy and make it the fastest growing in Africa. Speaking at an interactive session with journalists in Owerri, Uzodinma also gifted two brand new 14 seater buses to members of Correspondents Chapel and National Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, in Imo State, Uzodinma said journalists must explain the benefits of the policies to Nigerians instead of trumpeting the side effects. He said; “Even if the people are experiencing economic hardship caused by the policies, they will ultimately enjoy the benefits. “Every discerning Nigerian knows that President Tinubu’s economic policies are sound and will save the country sooner or later.” Uzodinma, who also insisted that the removal of fuel subsidies and the merging of official and parallel exchange rates were bold steps taken by President Tinubu to strengthen the economy, regretted that some leading Nigerians, instead of recognizing the efforts of President Tinubu, are busy demarketing the administration through the media. He also said that while the three major presidential candidates promised to end the fuel subsidy regime, the other two who did not win pretend otherwise.
