Tinubu’s achievements make the coalition led by Atiku not effective

Federal Capital Region Minister (FCT), Nyesom Wike, said on Wednesday that the President of Tinubu Bola, achievements had made opposition efforts ineffective.

The minister stated this during the inauguration of the N16 Arterial Road (Shehu Shagari Way) to the Arterial Road N20 (Wole Soyinka Way) and other roads in the Abuja Katampe District.

He noted that the impressive pace of development under the leadership of Tinubu had confuted critics and opposition groups, especially the coalition led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to challenge the offer of the 2027 Presidential Election.

Wike said: “I think there will be a coalition, but when people see new projects launched every day, the idea collapses.

“The coalition has failed because of the good work done by the President.”

He said the Tinubu government had built contractor confidence in the government, adding that the contractor now has the confidence to carry out the project knowing that they will be paid.

“President Tinubu has returned that trust, and FCT people, especially those in satellite cities, see progress not as before,” the Minister said.

He thanked the President for allowing him to be part of what he described as “revolution at FCT,” and swear that no projects began under his term of office would be abandoned.

In his words, Tinubu praised Wike and his team for their commitment to the development of transformative infrastructure and described the minister as “team builders and team players.”

“Infrastructure is not luxury; that is a necessity; it is the foundation of national competitiveness, growth, social integration, and economic opportunities,” the President said.
