Tinubu’s policies need more time to materialize – Oshiomhole tells Nigerians to be patient – TrendyNewsReporters

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has urged Nigerians to have patience with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Oshiomhole made the statement on July 21 during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics programme.

The former governor, who now represents Edo North in the Senate, assured Nigerians that Tinubu’s policies would yield results in due course, urging patience.

He said: “It must be admitted that some political initiatives will take more than a year to materialize.

“What would the president gain by resorting to policy choices that are unlikely to bring comfort in the long run?
“So, I think for me it’s about having faith that, in the long run, these things are going to work out.”
This comes after the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said that inflation data reached 34.19% in June 2024.
The high cost of living has been caused by the floating of the naira and the removal of fuel subsidies by the current administration.
