The troops of the Fansan Yamma (OPFY) operation recorded important earnings against terrorists and bandits in the states of Zamfara and Sokoto, intercepting the redemption money, saving the victims of kidnapping, recovery of frustrated cattle and neutralizing armed fighters.
The military stated that the operations, conducted between 8 and 10 September through the areas of the local government of Shinkafi, Gusau, Bukkuyum and Tureta, interrupted terrorist logistics and freed kidnapped people.
According to Captain David Adwusi, media information officer for Oppy, Shinkofi troops intercepted over 23 million 23 million who are believed to be redemption payments for the kidnapped premises held by terrorists along the border of Nigeria -Niger Republic.
Three suspicions were arrested that transported ₦ 8.7 million and two more in a Toyota corolla with ₦ 15 million.

In separate operations in Anka and Tureta Lgas, the troops set up an ambush to terrorists who tried to move the frustrated cattle in forest hiding places.
Eight victims of kidnappings were saved, while 164 sheep were recovered and subsequently delivered to local authorities.
The troops also involved terrorists in a fierce fierce firing along Lilo -Kofi Road in Gusau Lga, killing six attackers.
However, the army confirmed the loss of three soldiers, while two more injured later died later.
Adwusi reiterated Oppy’s commitment to support the pressure on terrorists until peace is restored through the North -ovest and parts of the central center.
