A dispatcher was killed in a car accident along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos on Friday.
However, two other people were rescued from the crash near Chevron by emergency workers.
The General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), Mr. Olalekan Bakare-Oki, disclosed this in a statement signed by the agencyโs Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Mr. Taofiq Adebayo.
He said: โPreliminary investigations revealed that the high-capacity bus โT&Mโ (AKD 952 XZ) lost control due to brake failure and collided with a vehicle โKIA RIOโ (BDG 853 DA) coming from the opposite direction.
โThe impact caused the KIA RIO to hit the transport motorcycle (KTU 695 QK) in the opposite direction.
โThe driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two suffered serious fractures and were rushed to a nearby hospital by a good Samaritan who was driving along the highway.โ
