Donald Trump has threatened Russia with more sanctions after a series of deadly attacks in Ukraine, as he said about Vladimir Putin: “What happened to him?”
The US president was surprised at the behavior of his colleague in Kremlin afterwards Drone and missile attacks in Kyiv and other Ukraine cities killed 12 people and dozens were injured again.
Trump Criticizes Putin – Latest Renewal
Speaking to reporters at the airport in New Jersey ahead of the flight back to Washington, Mr. Trump said: “I’m not happy with Putin. I don’t know what’s wrong with him.”
“He killed many people,” he added. “I’m not happy about that.”
Trump – who says he is “always hanging out” Mr. Putin – told reporters that he would consider more sanctions against Moscow.
“He sent a rocket to cities and killed people, and I didn’t like it at all,” he said.
Then, on the social platform of truth, the US president wrote that he “always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin from Russia, but something had happened to him. He was really crazy!”
“He doesn’t need to kill many people … I always say that he wants all Ukraine, not only part of it, and maybe it proves to be true, but if he does it, it will cause the fall of Russia!”
Trump also criticized Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said the President of Ukraine “did his country without help by speaking as he did. Everything that came out of his mouth caused problems, I did not like him, and better stop”.
Ukraine said the series of attacks last night until Sunday was the biggest air strike in the war so far, with 367 drones and missiles fired by Russian troops.
It happened even though Trump repeatedly discussed the opportunity for a peace agreement. He even talked to Mr. Putin on the phone for two hours last week.

Zelenskyy said Ukraine was ready to sign a ceasefire agreement, and suggested Russia not seriously signing one.
In a statement after the latest attack in his country, he urged the US and other national leaders to increase pressure on Putin, said Silence “only pushed” him.
Trump’s envoy for the country, Keith Kellogg, then demanded a ceasefire, describing Russian attacks as “shameful”.
Three children, including those killed in the attack, the explosion shook the cities of Kyiv, Odesa, and Mykolaiv.
Before the attack, Russia said that he had faced the Ukraine drone attack on Sunday. It is said about 100 intercepted and destroyed near Moscow and in the central and southern regions.
Violence has increased even though Russia and Ukraine completed the exchange of 1,000 prisoners each for the last three days.
