This happened two months after Trump signed an executive order to establish US sovereign wealth funds, which might be used to obtain tiktok.

The creation of funds is expected within 12 months by the US Department of Finance and Trade, with a potential source of funding referred to as tariffs and other ways.

Trump has discussed with various parties about buying Tiktok, including Microsoft and Tesla’s CEO who has the potential for Elon Musk or Chairman of Oracle Larry Ellison.
