US President Donald Trump has launched a “gold card” residency permit worth $ 5 million aimed at attracting rich investors and businessmen to the United States.
This initiative, positioned as an alternative to a traditional green card, is designed to provide paths to US citizenship for those who are willing to pay a decent price.
Presenting a card prototype, which displays the image and writing “The Trump Card,” Trump expressed his excitement about the program. “I am the first buyer,” he told reporters. “Quite interesting, huh?”
Trump announced that a new visa can be available “in less than two weeks” and claim that income from the program can contribute to reducing the US national deficit.
The former Real Estate Maestro, who has made mass deportation a priority in his second term, emphasizing that while his government cracks down on illegal immigration, it also creates new opportunities for those who are able to buy it.

In February, he suggested that his government aim to sell “maybe a million” cards.
When asked whether Russian oligarchy could qualify, Trump did not rule out it as a potential buyer.
